Pico de Loro and Casa Pance

Hotel Casa Pance is in the Pance district, south of Cali, offering a strategic base for visiting Pico de Loro in the Farallones de Cali National Natural Park. The hike to Pico de Loro begins at the El Topacio Environmental Education Center, about a 30 to 40-minute drive from the hotel. The trail is challenging, covering roughly 14 km round trip with an elevation gain of 1,260 meters up to 2,860 meters above sea level. It’s recommended to start early and hire a local guide, as this is mandatory since June 2017. The hotel provides a peaceful, natural setting—perfect for resting after a long day of hiking—and its proximity to the Pance River offers additional opportunities for refreshing activities in its clear, cool waters.
